Teaching Methodology
For new students, Ángel emphasizes the need to have a solid foundation: rhythm, balance, foot technique, musicality, awareness of space and coordination. As they advance, each student is challenged to develop by overcoming their limitations through daily practice. Advanced dancers are guided in developing technical awareness and artistic judgment so they can continue to progress.  Ángel’s ability to identify and cater to individual needs make him a much sought after teacher in Seville and around the world.
Escuela de Flamenco Ángel Atienza
Ángel’s passion for flamenco has led him to share his way of expressing this colorful and passionate art form. In 2006, Ángel Atienza created Escuela de Flamenco Ángel Atienza, his own flamenco school in Seville, a place dedicated to the dissemination and professional teaching of flamenco. He is much appreciated for his clear methodology and great direction when teaching which is marked by respect and commitment to the students. As a well-respected and highly experienced teacher, he has been invited to teach flamenco dance around the world, in countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Japan, Costa Rica and USA.
