Enrolment Policies
By registering for MCCC courses, students agree to the following enrolment policies:
ENROLMENT METHODS
Students wishing to take classes at MCCC should make an application online through the website, email [email protected] or by Whatsapp at 9431-0155 at least 24 hours before class begins. In the application, students should provide all pertinent personal information including full name, address, contact phone number and email address so that MCCC may contact you in case of changes as and when necessary.
Enrolment may be confirmed after the submission of application and course payment. Payment may be in the form of cheque, bank deposit, cash or PayMe. A receipt may be provided if desired.
Enrolment is on a first-come-first-served basis. Class sizes are limited and MCCC reserves the right to refuse enrolment. MCCC reserves the right to a final decision in case of a dispute.
COURSE CANCELLATION, CHANGE OF COURSE SPECIFICATION
MCCC reserves the right to cancel any course, program or event, alter course content or instructor, date and/or time, and number of sessions to accommodate unforeseen changes. MCCC will endeavor to inform all students at the earliest convenience should course details change occur; however, these changes do not form a basis for course refund. If in doubt, students should enquire by Whatsapp to 9431-0155 or email [email protected].
In the case of the instructor’s illness or sudden absenteeism, MCCC will endeavor to arrange for a make-up class. There is no refund if the student could not attend make-up class. If a make-up class could not be arranged, students will be given pro-rata credit for the next course. There is no cash refund.
COURSE REFUND
Once course fee has been received, there is no refund, transfer or substitution except in the following circumstances:
COURSE TRANSFER
Course fees and enrolment are not transferable to another student. Once enrolment is confirmed, students may not transfer to another course or to another student without valid reasons and approval by MCCC.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent the student from completing the course, the student must submit a transfer (transfer course to another student) or substitution (substitute course for another course) request in writing to MCCC, explaining in full the reason for such a request. Transfer/substitution requests will be reviewed case by case. There is no refund for such unforeseen circumstances. MCCC may reject any application for transfer/substitution at its own discretion. All decision by MCCC is final.
CLASS DISCIPLINE
INSURANCE POLICY
Even though MCCC is covered through third party insurance, students should attend classes within their own abilities to reduce injury. MCCC is not responsible for injury sustained during class activities.
PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION STATEMENT
Students should provide accurate personal information when applying for enrolment, in case MCCC needs to contact students regarding re-scheduling or cancelled classes, for example. Such information would also be made available on MCCC’s website.
Personal data provided from enrolment applications will only be used by MCCC for the purposes of communication and distribution of course information and materials. It is the students’ responsibility to make one or more modes of communication available to MCCC. MCCC will endeavor to provide such information in a timely manner through telephone messaging and email. MCCC is not responsible for a breach of communication due to the student’s inability to provide an adequate mode of communication, negligence in checking messages or email, or providing incorrect contact information.
PERSONAL DATA (PRIVACY) ORDINANCE
Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance requires MCCC to seek students’ consent for continuing the use of his/her personal data for the purpose of information distribution about our programs and activities. By registering in our courses, students agree to our continued use of their personal data for studio updates and direct marketing purposes. These include providing course information, program updates, newsletters, events and other services. MCCC guarantees that no personal data would be released or divulged to third parties without your consent. Students who wish to be removed from MCCC’s database may do so by sending an email to [email protected] and providing your email and telephone number.
COPYRIGHTS
MCCC assumes the right to take photos, videos or other types of recordings during class, performance or MCCC events, and will use such recordings for promotional purposes without prior consent from persons in the recordings. By registering for courses, students agree to MCCC’s continued use of their images or recordings for these purposes. Any students who do not wish their image to be used for promotional purposes should speak up during photography or video recording.
ADVERSE WEATHER
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted by the Hong Kong Observatory
For classes that have already started: Classes will be suspended automatically.
For classes that have not yet started: Classes for the day will be cancelled.
If Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 or above is announced by the Hong Kong Observatory
For classes that have already started: Classes will be continued until Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted.
For classes that have not yet started: Classes for the day will be cancelled.
If Black Rainstorm Warning is in force by the Hong Kong Observatory
For classes that have already started: Classes will be continued.
For classes that have not yet started: Classes for the day will be cancelled.
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above is lowered, or the Black Rainstorm Warning is withdrawn:
At or before 7:00am - All classes to be held from 10:00am and thereafter will take place as usual.
At or before 10:00am - All classes to be held from 1:00pm and thereafter will take place as usual.
At or before 2:00pm - All classes to be held from 5:00pm and thereafter will take place as usual.
Make-up classes for classes cancelled due to adverse weather will be at the discretion of MCCC, and subject to studio and instructor availability. There is no refund or substitution for students who are unable to attend make-up classes.
CANCELLATION DUE TO UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
In the event that unforeseen or unexpected events, such as accidents, sudden weather changes, flooding, social disturbance or force majeure, that may disrupt traffic and/or lead to the cancellation of classes, MCCC will endeavor to notify all students at the earliest convenience of such cancellation. MCCC will also endeavor to make up any cancelled classes at the earliest convenience, subject to government health or safety guidelines, and the availability of the studio and instructor. There is no refund or substitution for students who are unable to attend make-up classes. If make up classes could not be arranged, MCCC will endeavor to award appropriate credit to students for future use. To confirm cancellation or makeup classes, students should contact MCCC at 9431-0155 or [email protected].
CCTV WARNING
MCCC’s premises are protected by 24-hour audio and video surveillance. By entering, all persons agree to be audio and video recorded for security purposes.

COURSE REFUND
Once course fee has been received, there is no refund, transfer or substitution except in the following circumstances:
- When the course is cancelled by MCCC, in which case entire course fees will be refunded to the students in full if the course has not begun, or at pro-rata if the course has begun. Course fee will be refunded by cheque within eight weeks of the cancellation; and
- When the student cannot participate in 40% or more of the course due to injury or illness. In this case, the student needs to inform MCCC by written application as soon as possible, providing relevant medical documentations within one week of the injury or diagnosis. Remaining classes of up to 50% will be refunded. Lapsed classes between injury/illness and application for refund will not be refunded.
COURSE TRANSFER
Course fees and enrolment are not transferable to another student. Once enrolment is confirmed, students may not transfer to another course or to another student without valid reasons and approval by MCCC.
If unforeseen circumstances prevent the student from completing the course, the student must submit a transfer (transfer course to another student) or substitution (substitute course for another course) request in writing to MCCC, explaining in full the reason for such a request. CLASS DISCIPLINE
- No eating and drinking (except water) is permitted on the dance floor (except by special arrangement). Smoking is strictly prohibited inside MCCC.
- Students should switch off mobile phones and ringing devices during class. If students must use mobile phone during class, kindly step off the dance floor.
- While waiting for class to begin, students should wait quietly off the dance floor. Students who are late for class should enter quietly and join the class from the back.
- Personal belongings should be placed in empty lockers and kept off the dance floor.
- All materials including choreography, routines and lecture notes distributed during class remain the intellectual property of MCCC. Such material is for the private use of students only, and may not be duplicated or distributed. Violators may be prosecuted.
- All recordings, whether electronic or written, collected during class remains the property of MCCC and all rights are reserved. Such materials may not be duplicated or distributed without prior permission.
- No unauthorized photography, videography or sound recording is allowed during class or performance.
- No auditing or observation of class allowed without prior permission.
- Only dance shoes, slippers or bare feet are allowed on dance floor. No street shoes are allowed.
- Students should vacate the dance floor soon after class is finished to make room for the next class.
- Students may not pass out business cards or non-MCCC related promotional materials without prior permission.
- MCCC reserves the right to exclude from class any student whose behavior disturbs class, causes injuries to other students/teachers, causes damage to MCCC, or who does not comply with studio regulations. For damage caused to MCCC, a fine will be levied based on the market value of the damaged item.
